The maximum cash back amount is either 50% of the base fare or Rs. 2000 - whichever is less. You can avail this offer only for Deccan, Spice Jet, GoAir, IndiGo, and JetLite flights that are currently available on Cleartrip.com.
Though, this offer is valid for all the bookings made online on Cleartrip.com for select airlines during the above mentioned period only. But, the travel date can be any date of your choice. This offer can be availed only once during the promotion period - once per credit card.
Rs.2000 or 50% of base fare per booking looks to be a decent gain, so you may definitely like to consider this offer in case you're planning to book tickets during the promotion peiod, especially when the travel date is also either during the same period or if that's only a few days after the promotion expires. You can surely get better offers in case your date of travel is not very near. But, people having a habit of booking their tickets not so early or those who are forced to do it due to various reasons can enjoy this promotional offer:-)

One great thing about this offer is that you get instant cash back. Usually it takes 10-15 days for cash back amount to get credited into your account. Sometimes it takes even longer and you may have to wait for the whole cycle of the offer period. This may even stretch to three or more months. An instant cash back means that your credit card account is charged only for the discounted amount.
For me, it gives greater feeling of content if I am going to get instant cash back.
First ever, I experienced this instant cash back while booking movie tickets. ICICI bank in association with PVR cinemas has come up with some “ek pe ek free” offer. I liked the concept of this instant cash back very much and hope all cash back offers will follow the same track.
Is free movie ticket offer still valid?
Yes ... it's valid till July 31, 2008. And now you can avail this offer with any VISA signature, platinum and even gold card, be it ICICI or HDFC or Barclays or SBI. And if you don't have, you know whom to contact ;) even after expiration of this offer :)

It seems the offer of 50% discount on movie ticket is only on Barclays card, and not on ICICI.

Hi Ranmax... I think, there is no such offer on Barclaycard. What I know is that you can get a maximum of Rs. 250 off on movie tickets with Barclaycard. Let me know if you know any other movie ticket offer applicable on this card.
